This week with Scratch Cooking Sunday, it isn’t truly from scratch but it’s rather tasty(and easy!!)

So I am an obsessive Friends fan. I pretty much have it on in the background at home, all the time! In the show, thanks to Joey, we hear about some pretty yummy sounding food! One of his favorites is the meatball subs! Now I know the one I create probably wouldn’t even compare to one you could find in New York but my family approves and asks for them often, so I say it’s a win! And in honor of my favorite show, I have named them Tribbiani Subs! It only seems right!

When it’s cold outside like it has been all weekend here in Texas, a big meatball sub sandwich is pretty delicious and warm!

It is super easy and only takes 4 ingredients(unless you want to actually make it all from scratch which probably gets you closer to the New York level)

Tribbiani Subs

Ingredients:

Sub sandwich rolls

Frozen meatballs(my favorite kind if the Cooked Perfect Brand, I buy the hearty size ones)

Your favorite marinara sauce

Shredded cheese

Directions:

On a baking sheet, bake the meatballs on their own following the directions on the package.

On a separate baking sheet, place the sub rolls on their own, toast in oven for just a few minutes(keeps the sauce from making it soggy in the next steps)

Once done, fill your sub rolls with 3 to 4 meatballs each and scoop sauce over the top.

Place in oven for about 10 minutes(350 degrees)

Following that, sprinkle cheese over the top of each one and place back in oven just long enough to melt the cheese(about 5 to 8 minutes)

And that’s it! They taste best served warm out of the oven!

Enjoy your Tribbiani sub! I highly suggest eating it while watching your favorite Joey episodes!
